As far as web traffic over qual-i-tay content... I'm one of the reviewers over at HB. I loved your blog. And I think that blogs listed at HB should be... HUMOROUS, and I don't mean in the LOLCats kinda humorous either, or heaven-forbid... "mommy blogger" kinda humorous. No wait, that's an oxymoron.

Take that "Seven Seeds" mom-blogger site for example. The absolute ONLY reason it is listed on HB is because it is written by someone appearing on television and brings a huge amount of web traffic. And that's cool and everything, but don't call yourself a "humor blog" webring and then throw in a site like that to solely boost your web traffic.
Bleh, maybe Rickey's just bitter that his site plummeted to #63 and his posts no longer appear on the main page. Who knows...

The 'only reason' Seven Seeds is listed is that we'll list any blog that calls itself a humor blog and links to us. Seven Seeds is subject to the same rules as everyone else. I stopped trying to figure out what blogs qualified as "humor blogs" a while back because my opinion isn't really what's important. Figures that some ignorant dipshit would find a way to get upset about that.
As for people at H-B "valuing web traffic over genuine humor", I have no idea what that has to do with the validity of the reviews.
In any case, the turkey blog got a score of 59, putting him in the top third of blogs we've reviewed. So if a low score is a 'badge of honor,' then you just got your badge revoked. Sorry man, I know you want to be all mean and contrary-like, but people like you. They really like you. :)

Rickey's merely suggesting that a little whittling needs to be done, that's all. It's nothing personal against Kadi. Out of curiousity, Rickey watched "Supernanny" last night and was surprised to see that it wasn't as awful as he'd feared it would be. Rickey's not a parent yet, so he doesn't fit into the group of folks that loves critcizing other people's children (sorry, but that's essentially who the show is geared towards). But it was an interesting hour of tv nontheless.

I am also one of the reviewers and I like the blog as well. They used to be much more fun back when the reviews were like roasts by your fellow bloggers. Now they are done by people who get offended by humor that isn't 'Everyone Loves Raymond'. But the reviews are toast so it's all academic now.
Your blog continually offends and sickens me. That's why I read it. I hate myself and it's one of the many ways I choose self-flagellate.

I'm not offended and I think your blog is funny but sadly I was not included in the reviewers.
By contrast, I cannot find it within my self to read the Seven Seeds blog. It offends me that someone would choose to overpopulate the earth is such a blatant manner but to then whine about the results is just unacceptable.
btw - how does this post keep winding up at the top of the list? It is a couple of days old and still listed as the newest post...I just don't get that...but I'm not offended.
